We do have the option to port it to other platforms in the future, but we're focusing on Apple currently.
You can create and edit every adoc Studio document with your editor of choice, since the resulting text is still AsciiDoc in UTF8 format. But for creating HTML & PDF documents you have to have adoc Studio on a Mac (or iPad). Or you use Asciidoctor. But please keep in mind the Asciidoctor-PDF is completely different from the other Asciidoctor.
