The file couldn't be opened (error message)

I am unable to save a project on my Mac. Specifically, when i specify a location to save a project, I'm asked to grant permissions but when I do so the operation fails. I've uninstalled the app, and reinstalled from the app store.

It is currently unusable.

Hi. Which is your macOS?
Where do you save the file on your Mac, that you don't already have the permissions?

Please do a secondary click onto 'Document.adoc' as shown on the sidebar.
And select 'Reveal in Finder'

Does this Finder window get opened?

If so select the file and call Finder > Get Info.

Where is it saved? And which Permissions are there?
